Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to a new school year at the Central Freshman Academy! Your student has a wonderful campus to begin their high school career.

I hope that you have the same high expectations of learning for your student as I do. Your involvement, assistance and encouragement are integral parts in ensuring that your child not only succeeds but excels. To help you with this, you will find all class assignments, notes, and supplemental materials posted at www.thomasclassroomconnection.blogspot.com. Also, the school counselor can provide you with a STI login number to access your student’s grade information for all classes.

Please take a moment to read over the course syllabus, policies, and procedures with your student to ensure that they are aware of what is expected of them.

At the Central Freshman Academy, we are taking all possible steps to ensure your student’s success. Students will be allowed to re-take tests if they are not satisfied with their results. As an effect, I will not allow any student to accept a failing grade on a test. If a student fails a test, the following two afternoons will be scheduled. The first afternoon will be a review of the materials and study time. The second afternoon, the student will retake the test.
